Senior Production Manager

Our client is an Electronics multinational manufacturing company headquartered in the US. Currently looking for a Senior Production Manager to lead and oversee all manufacturing operations across SMT, Back End Processes, Testing, and Final Assembly.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and execute production plans, capacity strategies, and resource allocation to
  support customer demand, NPI activities, and business growth.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement of SMT, Back End, and
  Assembly processes, focusing on productivity, yield, efficiency, and throughput.
• Utilize manufacturing data, including SPI and AOI systems, to optimize process
  performance, reduce defects, and improve overall product quality.
• Responsible for SMT metrics including First Pass Yield (FPY), DPMO (Defects Per Million
  Opportunities), and placement cycle times.
• Ensure effective material flow, inventory control, and adherence to FIFO, Kanban, and
  JIT principles throughout the manufacturing process.
• Champion compliance with IPC-A-610 standards, quality management systems,
  regulatory requirements, and workplace safety standards.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to
  address quality issues, customer complaints, and operational challenges.
• Manage, develop, and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance
  culture through training, succession planning, and performance management.
• Monitor and drive key operational KPIs including safety, quality, delivery, productivity,
  utilization, efficiency, and cost performance.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support audits,
  business reviews, process improvements, and successful product launches
