Project Manager, Production Setup

Our client is a well-known semiconductor multinational manufacturing company from Germany. Currently looking for a Project Manager to set up new production line due to increased demand.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage end-to-end production setup from tool arrival in warehouse through acceptance testing and handover to production
• Lead move-in of 500+ tools into an active, running Fab environment
• Plan and execute relocation of machines and modification of production layouts while maintaining parallel production operations
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams including layout engineers, move-in crew, hook-up crew, production planners, and warehouse/logistics teams with time-phased space requirements
• Create detailed project plans, schedules, timelines, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to schedule, cost, safety, and production impact
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting
• Ensure quality assurance by delivering projects that meet defined standards, safety requirements, and compliance criteria
• Lead, motivate, and guide cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
• Resolve conflicts and maintain effective collaboration across teams
• Manage stakeholders through clear and structured communication with production, maintenance, facilities, and project teams
• Delegate tasks effectively based on team strengths, expertise, and project priorities
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution, planning, and operational coordination
