Production Manager

Our client is a US-based manufacturer and they have more than 18 locations worldwide including their Johor branch. They are currently looking for a Manager to oversee production and to work closely with their Singaporean colleagues.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee daily operations of the production department, ensuring production targets are achieved on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards
• Plan, schedule, and oversee production processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
• Monitor and regulate inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to maintain optimal stock levels
• Act as the operational and technical lead for key manufacturing initiatives, including the adoption of new processes and enhancements to existing ones
• Maintain and manage production equipment, machinery, and tools to ensure optimal performance
• Monitor and analyze production metrics such as performance, efficiency, downtime, and scrap rates
• Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to ensure products meet required quality standards
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and planning teams to facilitate seamless operations and timely deliveries.
• Lead and mentor production staff, providing training and development to enhance team performance
• Ensure a clean and organized production environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work with global manufacturing sites and engineering teams to advance manufacturing technologies
• Be available for short-notice travel between Singapore, Malaysia, or other locations, working across office and manufacturing environments
