Our client is an American-based MNC headquartered in Silicon Valley. They have more than 13,000 employees worldwide. Currently looking for a Manager to oversee their production of semiconductor equipment in their Mak Mandin facility.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Oversees daily production operations to ensure manufacturing runs efficiently, safely, and
meets company quality standards - Lead and manage manufacturing operations to meet production goals and delivery
timelines - Supervise and develop production supervisors, team leads, and floor staff
- Hire, train, and mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations, and handle
disciplinary actions when required. - Detect bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the manufacturing process; enhance the
utilization of materials, labor, and equipment to minimize waste - Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing or Six Sigma
methodologies - Partner with QA to address non-conformance issues and drive corrective action
implementation - Collaborate with Engineering to enhance design-for-manufacturing (DFM) practices
- Manage material usage and inventory in coordination with warehouse and materials
teams - Assist in the deployment of MES or ERP systems to improve tracking and process control
A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing industries ideally from semiconductor or optical
communications - 3+ years in management role
- Experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing is highly preferred
- Proficient in process improvement tools and methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing,
Six Sigma, Kaizen and TPM - Proficiency in MES is highly preferred
- Lean Six Sigma belt is a huge plus
