Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a Semiconductor Equipment assembler. Currently looking for Mechanical Engineer to design, build, debug, deploy, and support Semiconductor Test Equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for leading the mechanical assembly, system integration, and testing of
  CNC-machined components and equipment
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly procedures to ensure
  accurate product assembly.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to assembly technicians and
  production staff
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting when
  required.
• Assist field service teams in resolving mechanical and system-related issues at customer
  sites
• Oversee production builds to ensure compliance with quality standards and production
  schedules.
• Monitor and improve assembly workflows, testing procedures, and product quality.
• Ensure proper adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and outgoing QA
  requirements
• Identify opportunities for Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Manufacturability (DFM),
  reliability, and serviceability improvements.
• Recommend improvements in tolerances, tooling, and cost drivers to enhance
  manufacturing efficiency
• Ensure proper implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and maintain
  revision control of assembly documentation.
• Develop and update work instructions, technical procedures, and assembly guidelines
• Track key operational metrics including yield, defect rates, on-time delivery, and recurring
  production issues.
• Provide regular manufacturing progress updates and maintain KPI dashboards.
