Assistant Manager, Production

Our client is a Taiwan-based manufacturer in the PCB industry. They have recently expanded their operations to Penang and they are looking for an Assistant Production Manager to ensure his team meets production goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To assist the Production Manager in planning, managing and executing production
  operations.
• To assist the Production Manager in training, supervising and motivating employees and
  manage schedules to meet production goals.
• Coordinate and plan production priorities, workflow and schedule.
• To develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand, ensuring
  efficient use of resources and on-time delivery
• To identify and report operational and maintenance problems to prevent production
  delays.
• To provide suggestion for process improvements to enhance production quality and
  capacity.
• Work with the production team to implement and enforce company policies and safety
  standards
• Maintain documentation and prepare detailed reports on production operations and
  status.
• Manage production budgets and maintain cost control while ensuring the production of
  high-quality products.
• Liaise with other departments such as material & logistic, quality control and sales to
  ensure products meet specifications and deadlines
• Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to forecast demand and
  adjust production plans as needed
