Operations Director

Our client is an American-based MNC from the semiconductor industry. Currently looking for Director to lead the operations, product, and test department.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead end-to-end operations and drive execution of new product introductions in collaboration with engineering and external suppliers, including sourcing strategy, BOM definition, cost analysis, builds, and qualification.
• Align supply planning with business demand by partnering with Sales and Planning teams to ensure accurate forecasting, while proactively managing risks related to production capacity, lead times, and market growth.
• Develop and manage supplier capacity strategies, securing short- and long-term commitments to ensure reliable execution of production plans and future demand requirements.
• Oversee expedited supply chain and manufacturing recovery actions for urgent requirements, ensuring continuity of critical builds and customer commitments.
• Drive supplier performance excellence across key metrics including lead time, cycle time, yield, quality, and cost, through structured continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and lead support for internal and external audits across manufacturing and supplier operations.
• Establish and maintain robust business continuity and risk mitigation frameworks across internal operations and global supply base.
• Partner with strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify operational efficiencies, enable innovation, and align long-term technology and capacity roadmaps.
• Lead cost transformation initiatives with suppliers, delivering sustainable savings through scale leverage, process optimization, and strategic commercial engagement.
• Own Quality Management System (QMS) effectiveness and collaborate with IT teams to implement digital systems that enhance operational visibility, planning accuracy, and execution efficiency.
