Our client is a Taiwanese-based manufacturer in the PCB industry. They have recently expanded their operations to Penang and they are looking for a Manager to lead the Customer Technical Service team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Propose and manage departmental manpower planning, organizational structure, and
functional responsibilities. - Direct, supervise, audit, and coach subordinates on business operations and work plan
execution; directly participate in operational work when manpower resources are
insufficient. - Plan and implement employee training programs, including professional development and
succession planning. - Drive departmental KPI achievement and supervise subordinates to meet individual
KPI/KCI targets. - Manage, monitor, and control the departmental budget.
- Propose, revise, or abolish policies and regulations within the department’s scope of
responsibility, and supervise and audit their effective implementation. - Supervise technical support for:
– Market promotion of new products at the Penang plant,
– Technical support during customer processing of company products
– Responsibility determination for product quality abnormalities. - Provide technical support for products from other group factories as required.
- Assist in responsibility determination for quality abnormalities of group factory products
within the East China region - Assist subordinates in business process computerization and workflow optimization to
improve efficiency and reduce cycle time - Participate in management meetings and communicate relevant information through
departmental meetings or employee assemblies. - Provide support, consultation, and professional recommendations to internal committees,
including but not limited to:
– Occupational Safety & Health Committee
– Catering Committee
– Environmental Management Committee
– Proposal Review Committee
A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 6+ years of working experience, ideally in PCB manufacturing environment
- Knowledgeable in ISO9001 and IATF16949
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma
- Lean Six Sigma belt is an added advantage
