Senior Engineer, QA

Our client is a US-based manufacturer and they have more than 18 locations worldwide including their Johor branch. They are currently looking for Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supervise and enforce quality control measures throughout all phases of the
  manufacturing and assembly processes—from incoming inspection to final product
  verification. Collaborate closely with supplier quality, production, and final inspection
  teams to identify defects early and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Conduct thorough root cause analyses and implement effective corrective and preventive
  actions (CAPA) to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead the planning and execution of validation and qualification activities for new
  processes and equipment that impact product quality.
• Utilize statistical tools such as SPC and DOE to monitor, analyze, and enhance process
  capability.
• Provide training and mentorship opportunities to enhance team performance and
  technical competencies.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for metrology activities,
  ensuring alignment with industry best practices in equipment operation, calibration,
  measurement methodology, and traceability. Regularly review and update procedures to
  maintain compliance with quality system requirements.
• Deliver training on quality tools (e.g., 7 QC tools, FMEA, Control Plan), support Quality
  Management System (QMS) awareness initiatives, and contribute to the development of
  optical knowledge.
• Prepare monthly quality performance reports and present data-driven improvement
  proposals to the QA Manager.
